Unlocks automatically in the Optml 360 app

• CaptureScale — real-world measurements and correctly scaled 3D results from day one. Accurate to 0.01 cm on a ring-sized object under good capture conditions in testing; results vary with framing, lighting, and focus.
• CaptureMesh (coming soon) — downloadable mesh models suitable for 3D printing and further editing, included free with every CaptureDisc™.
• CaptureMatch (coming later) — color-reference processing, using a separate CaptureDisc™ color-reference add-on.

There's nothing to pair and no special mode to select. Keep the disc visible while you shoot — Optml 360 recognizes it automatically.

Works with or without a turntable

On a turntable: capture a full rotation in as little as 30 seconds while the object and disc rotate together as one trackable subject. A solid-color studio background and a slow rotation — 30+ seconds per revolution — give the sharpest, best-ordered frames.

Handheld: leave the object and disc in place and move smoothly around them with your camera. No turntable or specific background required.

1. Shoot normally. Place the object on the disc and record, with or without a turntable. For turntable capture, a solid-color studio background and soft, diffuse lighting are recommended.
2. Recognition is automatic. Optml 360 detects CaptureDisc™ in the footage and applies the enhanced processing path — no manual switch or code needed.
3. Use the result. CaptureScale measurements and augmented-reality support are available from day one.
