Stop warping before it starts. Menhir Xtreme Lock is a professional polymer bed adhesive engineered for the hardest jobs in 3D printing: PEEK, PEI, PPSU, PC and nylon on heated beds of 150 °C and beyond. It works just as well with everyday PLA, PETG and ABS. Brush on a thin coat, print with confidence, and release clean parts with water or isopropyl alcohol. Made in Canada.

Why serious printers choose Xtreme Lock

  • Grips technical polymers. Formulated for high-temperature engineering materials (PEEK, PEKK, PPSU, PEI/ULTEM, PC, PA6, PA12, PPS, PVDF) as well as common filaments.
  • Holds at high bed temperatures. Menhir rates it for heated beds up to 150 °C or more without losing adhesion.
  • Protects your build plate. Forms a barrier layer that shields the surface from residue and damage, and helps prevent glass chipping when parts release.
  • Proven on glass-filled nylon. In Menhir's side-by-side test, a PA6-GF part lifted at the corners without Xtreme Lock and stayed flat with it on a Bambu Lab textured PEI plate.
  • No glue-stick or spray mess. Brush on a precise, even coat exactly where you need it, with no overspray.
  • Works with the printers you own. Menhir lists it as compatible with Bambu Lab, Prusa and Creality machines.
  • Fewer lifted corners, fewer blobs. Keeping the first layer down lowers the risk of a detached print turning into a hotend-clogging blob.
  • Goes a long way. Menhir rates one 120 ml bottle at 300+ prints on a standard build plate, and a single coat can last several prints.
  • Cleans up with water or IPA. The brush and the build plate both clean with water or isopropyl alcohol.

How to apply Xtreme Lock bed adhesive

  1. Shake the bottle well.
  2. Prepare a clean, residue-free, cold build plate. Never apply to a hot surface.
  3. Apply a thin layer with the brush. Rinse the brush with water or isopropyl alcohol afterward.
  4. Let it dry for a few minutes.
  5. Calibrate your first layer. A very low Z offset is not needed with Xtreme Lock, and a nozzle set too close can damage the surface.
  6. Print. For high-temperature filaments, Menhir recommends adding a brim.
  7. Remove the part. Low-temp materials: wait until the plate is cool. High-temp materials (above 300 °C): remove right after printing while the plate is still hot, because they contract quickly and can crack glass within seconds of cooling.
  8. Clean the plate with water or isopropyl alcohol.

Pro tips: ABS bonds extremely well, so use a thin coat. Avoid stacking repeated coats in the same spot. If a PLA or PETG part sticks, put a little water or IPA around the base to release it.
