BIQU PLA-HR is a high-resilience PLA built to bounce. Where standard PLA is rigid and brittle, PLA-HR is formulated for elasticity and toughness — it compresses under load and springs back, again and again, without cracking or taking a permanent set.
It is the filament behind the airless basketball that has been everywhere on MakerWorld. Printed as an open lattice, PLA-HR gives you a ball with genuine bounce and no air in it at all. The same properties suit anything that needs to flex and recover: airless tyres and wheels, shoe midsoles, grips and handles, protective bumpers, squishy toys, vibration dampers and gaskets.
The point of PLA-HR is that it prints like PLA, not like TPU. No heated chamber, no crawling feed rate, no retraction nightmares. It runs at ordinary PLA speeds on a standard FDM printer and most people get good results from a lightly tuned PLA profile.
BIQU's recommended settings:
- Printing temperature: 220–240°C
- Print speed: 40–100 mm/s
- Max volumetric speed: 6–8 mm³/s
- Diameter: 1.75mm (±0.03mm)
- Net weight: 1KG spool
- Compatibility: most FDM printers, including Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Sovol and QIDI
One tip worth repeating: the bounce comes from the lattice geometry, not from the plastic alone. Print the infill and wall structure the model actually calls for — swapping in a solid infill will give you a dense, dead part.

Ambrosia filament (1.75mm cardboard spool): Bambu Lab X1C, P1S, P1P, A1, A1 Mini with AMS; Prusa MK4/MK3S+/Mini+; Creality K1/K2/Ender 3 V3; Voron 2.4/Trident; most 1.75mm printers.
Push Plastic filament: 1.75mm spools work with Bambu X1C, Prusa MK4, Creality K1, Voron, RatRig, and all standard 1.75mm setups. 2.85mm spools work with Ultimaker S3/S5, LulzBot Taz Pro, and E3D toolchanger setups. Check the print settings in the product description for temperature and enclosure requirements specific to the material.

- Handling: orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Orders placed after 4:00 PM Eastern Time are processed the next business day.

- Consumable orders: free shipping at $95.00 or more. Under $95.00, the shipping cost is calculated at checkout from your items and address.
- Printer orders: $50.00 flat rate.
