Push Plastic is a domestic manufacturer. Their Carbon Fiber Nylon is extruded from virgin polyamide pellets with chopped carbon fiber reinforcement in Springdale, Arkansas. No regrind, no recovered material. Diameter held to ±0.05mm.
CF Nylon sits at the top of the desktop FDM material hierarchy for strength-to-weight. You get nylon's toughness, fatigue resistance, and self-lubricating surface combined with the flex stiffness that carbon fiber loading adds — parts that are light, rigid, and resistant to cyclic loading simultaneously. Common applications: structural drone arms, robotic linkages, high-load brackets, end-of-arm tooling, and aerospace ground support equipment.
This 2.85mm spool fits Ultimaker, Lulzbot, Raise3D, and E3D toolchanger systems.
Print at 255–275°C nozzle, 80–100°C bed. Enclosure required. Hardened steel nozzle required. Dry filament aggressively before and during printing.
10kg is production volume for facilities running CF Nylon continuously in 2.85mm machines.
