Ambrosia filament runs on cardboard spools built for Bambu AMS. No spool adapter, no weight sensor rattle, no AMS jams from incompatible spool geometry. Every spool is wound from 100% virgin Grade-A pellets — no regrind — and held to ±0.03mm diameter tolerance.
Ambrosia Dolos Color Shifting PLA changes color at different viewing angles. The effect is embedded in the filament — no coating, no post-processing. Dolos is Ambrosia's specialty color-shift line; same cardboard AMS spool, same ±0.03mm tolerance, same virgin pellet base. Easy to print, works on any 1.75mm printer, and produces finished-looking parts straight off the bed.
Best suited for display models, cosplay props, figurines, and decorative pieces where the visual effect is the point. PLA base means easy printing but not for high-heat or outdoor applications — for outdoor color-shift, see Dolos Color Shifting ASA.
Print Settings
- Nozzle: 190–220°C
- Bed: 50–60°C (or room temp with PEI)
- Enclosure: Not required
- Cooling: On, normal fan speed
- Nozzle: Standard brass
The color shift effect is most dramatic on flat surfaces with smooth finish settings. Ironing the top surface or printing at 0.1mm layer height makes the effect pop significantly more than standard 0.2mm layers.

Ambrosia filament (1.75mm cardboard spool): Bambu Lab X1C, P1S, P1P, A1, A1 Mini with AMS; Prusa MK4/MK3S+/Mini+; Creality K1/K2/Ender 3 V3; Voron 2.4/Trident; most 1.75mm printers.
Push Plastic filament: 1.75mm spools work with Bambu X1C, Prusa MK4, Creality K1, Voron, RatRig, and all standard 1.75mm setups. 2.85mm spools work with Ultimaker S3/S5, LulzBot Taz Pro, and E3D toolchanger setups. Check the print settings in the product description for temperature and enclosure requirements specific to the material.

- Consumable orders: free shipping at $95.00 or more. Under $95.00, the shipping cost is calculated at checkout from your items and address.
- Printer orders: $50.00 flat rate.
