Ambrosia filament runs on cardboard spools built for Bambu AMS. No spool adapter, no weight sensor rattle, no AMS jams from incompatible spool geometry. Every spool is wound from 100% virgin Grade-A pellets — no regrind — and held to ±0.03mm diameter tolerance.
Ambrosia PPS-CF is carbon fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide — one of the highest-performance materials available for desktop FDM. PPS is chemically resistant to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluid, and most industrial solvents. The carbon fiber addition raises the stiffness and dimensional stability further, making it suitable for under-hood automotive components, chemical-exposure hardware, industrial fixtures, and aerospace brackets where standard engineering filaments are not enough.
PPS-CF requires a high-temp all-metal hotend setup, an enclosed and heated chamber, and a hardened nozzle. It is not a casual material. If you have the hardware and the application demands it, it produces parts that outperform everything below it.
Print Settings
- Nozzle: 310–340°C — requires all-metal hotend
- Bed: 120–140°C
- Chamber: 80–100°C heated chamber required
- Enclosure: Required — fully enclosed, ideally with chamber heating
- Nozzle: Hardened steel or ruby required — CF is abrasive
- Dry before printing: Yes — 6–8 hours at 100°C
- Compatible printers: Bambu X1E, Voron with high-temp toolhead, RatRig with Revo Roto, custom high-temp builds
PPS-CF is not forgiving of moisture. Dry every spool before use and keep it sealed in a dry box during printing. Wet PPS-CF will delaminate and produce brittle parts regardless of temperature settings.

Ambrosia filament (1.75mm cardboard spool): Bambu Lab X1C, P1S, P1P, A1, A1 Mini with AMS; Prusa MK4/MK3S+/Mini+; Creality K1/K2/Ender 3 V3; Voron 2.4/Trident; most 1.75mm printers.
Push Plastic filament: 1.75mm spools work with Bambu X1C, Prusa MK4, Creality K1, Voron, RatRig, and all standard 1.75mm setups. 2.85mm spools work with Ultimaker S3/S5, LulzBot Taz Pro, and E3D toolchanger setups. Check the print settings in the product description for temperature and enclosure requirements specific to the material.

- Handling: orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Orders placed after 4:00 PM Eastern Time are processed the next business day.

- Printer orders: $50.00 flat rate.
