  • Flexible, rubber-like durability that absorbs impact and springs back.
  • Tighter ±0.03mm tolerance for consistent, reliable prints.
  • High-quality 1.75mm filament, free of additives.

Our Ambrosia TPU 95A Flexible Filament, a rubber-like thermoplastic polyurethane that's firm enough for structural parts yet supple enough to flex, absorb impact, and spring back without cracking. Machined to a tighter ±0.03mm tolerance for consistent diameter end to end, it delivers smooth extrusion and dependable results across every layer.

  • Flexible yet firm 95A hardness for parts that bend, absorb impact, and recover.
  • Free of additives, vacuum-sealed with desiccant on an eco-friendly cardboard spool.
  • Recommended: consistent 20–40mm/s speed, low or no retraction, direct drive preferred.

Product Description

Feed Your Printer the Filament of the Gods.

Flexible, durable, rubber-like — and it prints like butter. Ambrosia TPU 95A is a thermoplastic polyurethane filament with a Shore hardness of 95A: firm enough for structural, flexible parts, supple enough to absorb impact, flex, and spring back without cracking. Whether you're printing industrial gaskets, flexible hinges, phone cases, cable guides, shoe insoles, or hobby parts that need to survive the kind of abuse that rigid PLA simply won't, TPU95 has the durability and layer adhesion to deliver.

What separates Ambrosia from the rest of the spool is the tolerance. Most filament manufacturers ship at ±0.05mm. Ambrosia machines to ±0.03mm — a tighter standard that means consistent diameter from end to end of the spool, consistent extrusion pressure at the nozzle, and consistent results across every layer. No variation. No surprises. No failed prints from a diameter spike mid-spool.

Free of additives. Wound on an eco-friendly cardboard spool. Vacuum-sealed with desiccant for maximum shelf life out of the box.

Moisture warning: TPU absorbs moisture readily. Once opened, store in an airtight container with fresh desiccant. Wet TPU prints stringy and foamy — if your print quality drops, dry your filament before troubleshooting anything else. See print settings below for drying guidance.

Filament dryer note: The glue holding the cardboard spool together is rated for 70°C. If your filament dryer or enclosure exceeds this temperature, print a spool clip before loading to prevent the spool from unwinding. A printable clip file is linked on the Ambrosia product page.

Built for flexibility — perfect for:

  • Protective phone cases, camera bumpers, and electronics enclosures
  • Flexible hinges, living hinges, and snap-fit parts
  • Gaskets, seals, O-rings, and vibration-damping mounts
  • Shoe insoles, orthotics, and wearables
  • Cable management clips, strain reliefs, and cord organizers
  • Wheels, rollers, and RC car tires
  • Soft grips, handles, and ergonomic overlays
  • Industrial jigs, fixtures, and flexible tooling

Tips for printing TPU successfully:

  • Print at a consistent speed — erratic speed changes cause TPU to buckle in the extruder. Set a single consistent speed (typically 20–40mm/s) and hold it. If your slicer has different speeds for perimeters, infill, and travel, tighten the spread
  • Reduce retraction — excessive retraction with flexible filament causes grinding and jams. Start with very low retraction (0.5–1.5mm for direct drive) or disable it entirely if your printer is direct drive
  • Direct drive strongly preferred — Bowden setups can print TPU but require careful tuning. A direct drive extruder gives you the most control and the fewest headaches
  • Dry before use if not freshly opened — TPU is hygroscopic. If your spool has been open for more than a few days or stored without desiccant, dry at 45–50°C for 4–6 hours before printing
