Black PLA is the filament we ship more than any other. It's the default for prototypes, enclosures, jigs and fixtures — anything that needs to look finished straight off the bed.

Like all Coex Standard PLA, it's made in our Green Bay, Wisconsin facility from virgin NatureWorks Ingeo 4043D resin — colorant only, no fillers — and held to ±0.03mm diameter on every spool. Our Standard PLA holds its own against most brands' PLA+.

Works With Your Printer?

Ambrosia filament (1.75mm cardboard spool): Bambu Lab X1C, P1S, P1P, A1, A1 Mini with AMS; Prusa MK4/MK3S+/Mini+; Creality K1/K2/Ender 3 V3; Voron 2.4/Trident; most 1.75mm printers.

Push Plastic filament: 1.75mm spools work with Bambu X1C, Prusa MK4, Creality K1, Voron, RatRig, and all standard 1.75mm setups. 2.85mm spools work with Ultimaker S3/S5, LulzBot Taz Pro, and E3D toolchanger setups. Check the print settings in the product description for temperature and enclosure requirements specific to the material.

We ship to the 48 contiguous U.S. states (not Hawaii, Alaska, or U.S. territories).

  • Handling: orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Orders placed after 4:00 PM Eastern Time are processed the next business day.
  • Delivery: 3–10 business days after handling (4–13 business days in total).
  • Consumable orders: free shipping at $95.00 or more. Under $95.00, the shipping cost is calculated at checkout from your items and address.
  • Printer orders: $50.00 flat rate.
  • We email you a tracking number once your order ships.

Returns & Refunds

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for new, unopened, unused items in their original packaging. Final sale items cannot be returned.
  • To start a return, email bsys@consum3d.com with your order number. Once approved, we send return instructions.
  • You pay return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
  • Refunds go to your original payment method within 7 business days after we receive the return. For an exchange, return your original purchase and place a new order.
