Push Plastic is a domestic manufacturer. Their Matte ABS is extruded from virgin ABS pellets in Springdale, Arkansas — and the matte finish is built into the extrusion, not applied as a coating afterward.
Glossy layer lines on ABS are a cosmetic problem on functional enclosures. The matte surface finish on this formulation diffuses light evenly, hides layer transitions more effectively than standard ABS, and eliminates the surface glare that makes tooling, housings, and brackets look like rough prints even when they're dimensionally accurate. The 3kg format is for teams that run ABS regularly and need a consistent aesthetic across production batches.
Push Plastic holds diameter tolerance to ±0.05mm across the entire spool. When you're printing functional enclosures with wall thicknesses tuned to specific flow rates, consistent diameter matters. Variable-diameter filament introduces flow inconsistencies mid-wall that no slicer compensation fully corrects.
Recommended settings: nozzle 235–255°C, bed 100–110°C, enclosure strongly recommended to prevent warping and delamination. First-layer adhesion with a PEI or garolite surface is more reliable than glass for ABS.
