Push Plastic is a domestic manufacturer. Their PC-PBT is extruded from virgin polycarbonate/polybutylene terephthalate blend pellets in Springdale, Arkansas. No regrind, no recovered material. Diameter held to ±0.05mm.
PC-PBT combines the impact strength and heat resistance of polycarbonate with the chemical resistance and dimensional stability of PBT. The result is an engineering filament that holds tight tolerances at elevated temperatures, resists oils and solvents that would attack standard PC, and doesn't suffer PC's notorious moisture sensitivity to the same degree. Target applications: automotive brackets and housings, fluid-contact enclosures, electrical connectors rated above 100°C.
Print at 250–270°C nozzle, 90–110°C bed. Enclosure required. Hardened steel nozzle recommended. Dry filament at 80°C for 4–6 hours before printing.
3kg is mid-volume for engineering shops running repeated jobs once the material is validated in their process.
