Silky Black Hills Gold Silk PLA+ is a satiny-smooth reddish gold, much like the gold jewelry fashioned from its namesake, Black Hills Gold.
3D-Fuel Silk PLA+ is more durable with better layer-to-layer adhesion than other super-shiny silk PLAs on the market. While 3D-Fuel Silk PLA+ is not quite as tough as our Standard PLA+, it is remarkably tougher and more durable than other silk PLAs you may have printed with in the past.
We use only virgin, made-in-the-USA NatureWorks Ingeo 4043d PLA resin as our base PLA polymer.
3D-Fuel Silk PLA+ is a hard plastic that produces a barely noticeable but pleasant, sugary smell when extruding.
The broad color selection and ease of printing make it an ideal choice for 3D printing in a multi-color 3D printing system like the Bambu Lab AMS.

Diameter Tolerance:
Variable 3D filament diameters can cause significant problems in your 3D printer. We use a multi-axis laser measurement system to control our filament diameter and ovality in real time during production.
Packing Information:
A full 1kg (2.2 lbs) of 3D-Fuel Silk PLA+ plastic filament arrives on a durable plastic reel compatible with the Bambu Lab AMS. The reel is vacuum-sealed with a desiccant packet to keep out moisture.

The 3D-Fuel test lab features multiple brands of 3D printers, including Bambu Lab, Creality3D, Prusa, Raise3D, MakerBot, LulzBot, FlashForge, and more. We use what we manufacture in our 3D printing operations to ensure that our filament provides the best quality possible.

Ambrosia filament (1.75mm cardboard spool): Bambu Lab X1C, P1S, P1P, A1, A1 Mini with AMS; Prusa MK4/MK3S+/Mini+; Creality K1/K2/Ender 3 V3; Voron 2.4/Trident; most 1.75mm printers.
Push Plastic filament: 1.75mm spools work with Bambu X1C, Prusa MK4, Creality K1, Voron, RatRig, and all standard 1.75mm setups. 2.85mm spools work with Ultimaker S3/S5, LulzBot Taz Pro, and E3D toolchanger setups. Check the print settings in the product description for temperature and enclosure requirements specific to the material.
